Alexis Franco is a devoted and loving Mother of three, two sons that are 18 and 10 years old, and one daughter who is 14 months old. She is Kānaka Maoli, Cherokee, Mvskoke Creek, and an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes. Alexis and her three babies were born in Seattle Washington, where she met her significant other 20 years ago. He is Salvadoran, Mayan, and Aztec so their family has a very diverse mix of Indigenous Roots! They love to engage with all of their beautiful cultural traditions, activities, wellness practices, languages, and community events!Alexis offers compassionate and knowledgeable peer support with first hand experience dealing with mental health and emotional wellness. She has successfully navigated through some of life's toughest waters during the perinatal period with each of her three children. This includes the tremendous loss of close family members, recurring prolonged grief, personal financial instability, homelessness, and teen pregnancy while in the foster care system.Even with a tough start and continued barriers, she has a strong background in customer service and retail management, with over 10 years of business development. Her professional experience combined with her past hardships, provide her with an extensive range of skills to connect with families and support their Indigenous Emotional Wellness journeys!
